I am going to start today’s post with a
public announcement.
Start
of public announcement.
Attention all peeps who shop at Sainsbury’s Store
Newbury.
The
baking foil, cling film, sandwich and freezer bags and associated rubbish sacks
can be located in the corner of the store near the pet and freezer sections. They have been there for at least 5 months
now!
End
of public announcement.
I was asked 10 times today where the above
mentioned items were located, three times in the space of one aisle! I almost spent more time showing peeps where
the section was located than shopping. I
also spent a good proportion of today training a new shopping peep, which kept
me away from actual shopping. I love
showing someone new how to do something that I enjoy so much which got me
thinking. Don’t panic it was my one and
only thought of the day so did not over do it!
My thought, well I love photography (bet
you did not know that) and I think I have something to offer to anyone who is
interested in getting a little bit more from their camera. Whether it is just holiday snaps, out and
about partying or with friends or a social meeting such as a wedding or family
get together. Whether they have a small
compact, mobile phone or a DSLR or are thinking about getting a camera I am
confident I can help them get more from it and offer tips on taking better
photographs too. I think I might put
together a little course that can be personalised to me individual peoples
needs. I can include setting up and
configuring the camera, their computer and software and printer as part of the
course.
Which also got me thinking about the next
three days. Tomorrow is my last day in
my working week, a long week with some very long days included. I actually to not feel to bad considering although
my legs and feet are trying to convince me otherwise. Yep I know forward planning over three days
is not taking it one day at a time but I think it has to be done. There is going to be three days of rest and
recuperation for this chap but not his camera or anything photography
related. I have got the interior
photographs of a church to retake, a coffee morning to attend, pen pal letter
to post, landscapes to explore, in fact everything I am passionate about and
that involves me taking my camera out. I
am even going to try and get unit five of my course completed bar the
photographs. This chap is determined
this time that nothing is going to get in his way.
So here I am just about to transfer from a
very busy yet satisfying working week to a very busy and even more satisfying few
days of doing something I am very passionate about.
Now I have been having a bit of a reshuffle
within my photographic library and have come across a few photographs a thought
I had lost. So with a bit of
reprocessing here are some photographs I have taken over the last few years,
enjoy or not as the case maybe.
